The Offices of the Vice President for Research and the Chief Information Officer are sponsoring a day dedicated to the advancement and interdisciplinary integration of New Mexico’s research and teaching community that promotes the sharing of data, approaches, expertise, and tools to solve data-enabled research challenges, as well as encourages critical reflections on how data is used to create new knowledge.
The format will include 20-minute presentations, Pecha Kucha (20 slides shown for 20 seconds each) lightening talks, panel discussions, frequent breaks for socializing, as well as hands-on workshops that explore data sources and tools to use them.
Cash prizes for student posters, contact email@example.com.
The event is free and open to anyone who is interested in data-enabled research and teaching across the humanities, social sciences, the arts, and Science, Technnology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields.
