Cyberinfrastructure Day 2012

September 28 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Downtown Albuquerque

New Mexico EPSCoR, DataONE, the UNM Information Technologies Department, and the UNM Office of the Vice President for Research are pleased to host New Mexico Cyberinfrastructure Day (CI Day).


The agenda focuses on data management best practices, and other related topics, for researchers in the Humanities and Sciences, presented by researchers from the University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, and New Mexico Tech.

Apple will provide the keynote speech — "Create, Curate, and Connect with iTunes University."

CI Day kicks off with a Welcome Reception and a Posters Session on Thursday, September 27 at 4:30 p.m. CI Day continues on Friday, September 28, with speakers and hands-on sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Representatives from University departments will be on hand to answer questions about cyberinfrastructure resources and services available on their respective campuses.

Registration includes the Welcome Reception and a light breakfast and lunch.
Students and faculty are invited to present posters at the Posters Session.
Complimentary parking will be available in the Hyatt parking lot for CI Day attendees.
