UNM's Cyberinfrastructure Day 2013

If you are interested in participating in the 2013 Event or being a member of the program committee, or have a question, suggestion or feedback, please contact Kim Waseta.

The Office of the CIO sponsors Cyberinfrastructure Day to foster active communication among Researchers, Information and Network Professionals, and Students that will lead to collaborative working relationships and collective problem solving.

UNM is developing a cyberinfrastructure strategy that will help prepare both the institution and New Mexico for the oncoming globalization of universities and research institutions for future growth in federal funding. Universities that effectively use cyberinfrastructure to support their research needs and communities gain a competitive advantage in the race to attract excellent scholars and win external research funding. Major collaborations between scientific research and technological innovation require rethinking and redirection of these activities, and UNM is at the heart of technology-based economic development that will address this new direction.
